Cloud based tools

Browsing around the web and came across three entertaining cloud based tools and two cloud based tools that can be used for business purposes

·         Facebook

o   Facebook is a free online social networking site that gives you the ability to upload and manage pictures, upload pictures, video, or just share you’re thought to the Facebook servers and share them with either your friends that you have chosen or with everyone (not recommended).

·         Aviary.com

o   Aviary.com is a powerful cloud based to that can edit your pictures, videos, make pictures, takes snapshots of your screen, edit your music, or create and edit your own music, or blend both existing music and music you created and make it one.   You have to try this app, it’s very addicting.

·         Cutmp3.net

o   Cutmp3.net is pretty neat and self-explanatory.  You can upload an mp3 and basically crop it how you want to.  You can even use it to create ringtones from existing music, just don’t expect any more from this tool than that.

·         Mint.com

o   For either home or small business owner, Mint.com is a great way to manage your finances.  By just creating an account with them, you can connect mint to your bank accounts, credit card accounts, loans and investment accounts and organizes it and keeps track of your transactions and expenses.  It can also help you budget and gives you tips on how to save money.

·         Diagram.ly

o   Need to make a diagram for your meeting and do not have or refuse do download any software whether free or not or just do not want to go through the hassle of using a word processor, you could use Diagram.ly.  Create trees or hierarchies, etc. as you need with preloaded picture ready to go.  With to look and feel of Microsoft Office 2007 using a ribbon at the top with the ability to change font size and color and other features, it should not be hard to use.
