ASUS EEE Slate
I know that I have been going on about Tablet like the IPad, the Xoom, and the Galaxy Tab; yeah I know I need a new topic, but I just got an new ASUS laptop running an i5 processor, and turbo charge...that's what I talking about, but enough about that. I am starting to become a fan of ASUS and I thought about the Slate/ Tablet PC they just put out in January. ASUS's device is already using an i5 processor clocked at 1.3 Ghz with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with either 32 GB of storage or 64 GB all solid state drives, which helps give it its speed. Its also like other Tabs like Xoom with cameras and the latest flash playbacks. The down side to this device (well not really a down side depending the way you look at it) would be battery life, which is up to 3.5 hours, and its not cheap beginning at $1,099, which now Amazon has it over $900. My opinion, if you are look for a Tablet PC, which is half laptop, then the price is right, and the cheapest Tablet PC I've see. On the other hand, with 10 hours of battery life, still with all the bells and whistles, stick with Xoom or IPad.
